About The Trip
Your Itinerary
DAY 1 HOTEL CHECK IN
We’ll check in at the cool and quirky Hotel Birgit at 3pm in the hip and central Mitte district of Berlin. We’ll let you get settled in then, we’ll head out for some exploration and serious eats.
STREET ART TOUR
Join us as we check out some of Berlin’s most unique and interesting street art, told by passionate local experts in the know!
DAY 2 GUIDED TOUR OF TEUFELSBERG COLD WAR SPY STATION
You want alternative? We’ve got alternative! We’ll start our tour led by our local guide at Grünewald train station, previously used as a deportation depot for Jews destined for concentration camps. From there, we’ll take a scenic walk through Grünewald forest to Teufelsberg (Devil’s Mountain"), a man-made hill built with discarded rubble from the wreckage of World War II where we’ll check out a former US listening station. This Cold War Acropolis, once heavily guarded, was purposefully built to listen in on the activities of the Soviets during the Cold War. Now, it offers second-to-none views of Berlin and its heavily forested surrounding state, Brandenberg.
VIRTUAL REALITY ESCAPE ROOM
Join us for the ultimate team adventure. Picture the scene. It’s 3007 AD: The world, as you know it, is gone. Mankind was replaced by machines. What once was green is now destroyed. You are the last remaining survivors with one mission. With your first step into the virtual reality you have 44 minutes to reverse the apocalypse. Everything you need to succeed can be found within your team: Adrenaline, a fighting spirit and a desire to win.
DAY 3 CANOE TOUR ON THE RIVER SPREE
Let’s explore some of Berlin’s cool and quirky sights by canoe, including a deserted amusement park, a 100-year-old power plant Klingenberg and grounds of the former GDR broadcasting facilities. Never canoed before? No problem! It’s pretty straight forward and a great way to let your hair down and get to know your fellow booze-free travellers.
DAY 4 ALTERNATIVE FOODIE NIGHT TOUR & ALCOHOL-FREE BAR CRAWL
It wouldn’t be a We Love Lucid trip without some serious foodie goodness! Join us as we explore Berlin by night and sample some of the city’s diverse cuisines. We’ll also check out some of Berlin’s unique and unusual ”not in the guidebook” sights. On top of all that, we’ll stop for some awesome alcohol-free drinks and mocktails at the Monterrey Rock Bar and Zeroliq, Berlin’s first alcohol-free bar.
DAT 5 FAREWELL
It’s time to check out of our hotel and say our goodbyes. We hope it’s not your last lucid trip!
