The Lowdown
Join us for an unforgettable day of sober banter and adrenaline-fuelled good times at Knockill Racing Circuit, Scotland. Yep, that’s right. We’re going Rally Driving! Rally Driving Experiences are a great way to let off a bit of steam and inject a bit of excitement into your life. Letting loose on a rally stage with a bunch of other sober folk seems like the perfect day out to us and quite frankly we can’t bloody wait!
Who Can Join?
Anyone over 18 with a valid driver’s licence can join. You don’t need to go that fast on the day but it will help if you enjoy driving. We Love Lucid’s Lauren started going to rally driving experiences a few years ago and it’s one of her absolute favourite hobbies.

Lauren Burnison
Lauren is the Founder of We Love Lucid and a lover of all things adventure travel. When she isn’t organising trips and looking after her two-year-old daughter, you’ll find her buried in various creative projects including writing about sobriety and her travels. She is also a qualified interpreter and polyglot and she loves rally driving!
On the Day
Upon arrival at Knockhill, we’ll get fitted for helmets and the group will receive a briefing. We’ll then split into smaller groups and each group will be designated a car and instructor who will be present at all times while driving. Then the fun begins!
Each driver will take turns to do nine laps of the rally stage. Afterwards, the Instructor will take over at the wheel and take you on a hot lap of the rally stage. This way you’ll get an idea of what it’s like to be in a real rally car. We suggest you bring a change of underwear for this part!
Transport to and from Knockhill Racing Circuit will depend on the number of people attending the event. We will either travel in personal vehicles or rent a minibus. This will be confirmed closer to the time.
